All recipes should be this intuitive!

Lily's prose is transporting and her recipes are otherworldly - unexpected, intuitive, inventive, delicious. You'll start searching for Sunday supper inspiration and 40 minutes later, you'll be knee deep in a story about rosemary and Beyonce and fresh mangos in Maui, and you won't be at all mad about it. Eventually, you'll make dinner too because how can you resist those photos?! This book is a must-own for anyone who values culinary creativity, the emotional resonance of the senses, and the power of good food to bring people together.

This cookbook is AWESOME. I bought it for my girlfriend, who is a huge Kale & Caramel fan - it's the only food blog she reads and follows on instagram. She has said Lily's writing allows her to see and feel everything Lily is describing, whether its an ingredient or an emotion, and that following one of her recipes is like having a friend in the kitchen. Also that it's kind of like a therapist, but better:-) I've made a few with her and was surprised how easy they were for an amateur chef to prepare. We just made the Heirloom Tomato, Feta and Corn Panzanella with Pesto Vinagrette and it tastes like summer. Truly incredible. This makes an amazing present for a novice or experienced cook - the organization of chapters by herb is not just novel, but super helpful when trying to figure out what to do with that extra rosemary or thyme. It's a great way to learn more about how to incorporate delicious herbs into a meal while also minimizing waste. Thanks Lily!
